Sometimes life does not go the way we want, and it can be difficult to deal with. Counselling can give you a safe space with no judgements to explore what is going on in your world. Stress and anxiety can rule our days and it can be good to just start talking.
Changes in our lives affect us in different ways, and our environments such as school, university and jobs can create challenges that we struggle to deal with.
Finding a therapist can be daunting and difficult It is very much a personal decision, take your time; the most important first step is finding a therapist that works for you. My sessions will always be client-led and so will go at your pace not mine. I will be there to walk beside you and help you find the answers, comfort and support that you are looking for. I prefer to work face to face, however mixed virtual sessions are also available.
About me
My experience focuses on children and young adults up to 30; working with the challenges they face in their day to day lives.
Additionally working with individual family members of mental health patients (such as eating disorders and depression); in particular, looking at the upheaval, isolation and pain that can take over a home.
